I called the First Class Remodeling team this past summer after another contractor took my deposit and disappeared one week before my tenant was to move in. The manager came for a site visit the next day to give me an estimate and timeline.
I needed to expand and convert our existing den into a closed-door room that could be utilized as an office or second bedroom. We were provided an affordable estimate and a professional contract. Not only did they complete the job before my tenants move in date, but they modified the work plan to adhere to legal specifications and managed all approval processes with the condominium board. I live in Toronto and could not be present much of the time and could not perform site visits to check on the work. I literally placed all my trust in their hands.
Needless to say, First Class Remodeling did an exceptional job. They were able to source all the materials such as the same laminate flooring used by the builder (a discontinued model), they got the correct paint codes and installed a beautiful light fixture. My tenant and I were happy with the quality of work. It also added significant value to the property.
I literally trusted them at a time when we were desperate for help and they delivered an excellent product at a very affordable rate. They did not take advantage of our situation. It is difficult to find an ethical contractor nowadays. I would highly recommend this company as they are honest, reliable, and provide high quality work. I have already referred them to friends and colleagues.
